Blue Madness

Innovation Based in Tradition

Blue Madness performs the rocking, jazz-influenced blues for which Eric has been known since his early 1970s Chicago years.  His arrangements reflect the influence of T. Bone Walker, Muddy Waters, Johnny Otis Show, the Allman Brothers, BB King, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Oliver Nelson and Pat Metheny. At the core of it all is Eric’s dazzling, but precise, tasteful and toneful guitar work, including his renowned bottleneck slide playing.
